Empowering Pregnant Women
What a joy and privilege to carry your baby/babies in your womb! Pregnancy is a great gift from God and it means you are one of the custodians of God's heritage. It is a moment to be enjoyed. Yes! A moment to be enjoyed, even in the midst of the morning sicknesses, cramps and discomforts. Love your new life because from the moment of conception your life would never remain the same, and I say that in a good way. Before you think about yourself, you would first think about the welfare of your baby. Love your new shape, and be at peace because your emotional state could actually impact on your baby. Talk to your baby, lay your hands on your womb and speak God's word over your baby. Your baby can hear you and can recognise your voice. The scriture in Luke 1:39-45 testifies to this fact.
39 At that time Mary got ready and hurried to a town in the hill country of Judea,40 where she entered Zechariah’s home and greeted Elizabeth. 41 When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. 42 In a loud voice she exclaimed: “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the child you will bear! 43 But why am I so favored, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? 44 As soon as the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby in my womb leaped for joy. 45 Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill his promises to her!”
Having waited for four years before my first conception, I eagerly took on the beauty and challenges of pregnancy, including the big nose!
The Lord who started the good work is able to complete it.
Scriptures, Prayers and Confessions during pregnancy

Some of the concerns might be genuine and if this is the case please speak with your midwife or Doctor. Additionally, the scriptures on this page can help you to build your faith level during pregnancy. You could also use the scriptures on faith pills and praise nugget sections especially with previous experiences of challenging pregnancies. As the names of these two sections suggest, they are scriptural medicines and nuggets you could affirm everyday for you and your baby's health and wellbeing during pregnancy.

Be positive about your labour being confident that God will never leave nor forsake you. Do not rely on your past experiences or the negativity experiences by others. Meditate on these scriptures
2 Timothy 1:7
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
As a child of God, you the spirit of power, love and sound mind not the spirit of fear. And whatever your heavenly Father has not given to you should not be in your custody. Your heavenly Father has not given to the spirit of fear. You have the Spirit of adoption by which you can cry 'Abba Father.' You have a Spirit of sonship (I know you are a woman). So let the love of God take control of your thought and life.
Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
The thought of God toward you are of peace, good, kindness, mercy and not of evil, to give you your future desire and hope. He has not brought you to a period of pregnancy only to abandon you. He will see you through.
Exodus 1:19 (New King James Version)
And the midwives said to Pharaoh, "Because the Hebrew women [are] not like the Egyptian women; for they [are] lively and give birth before the midwives come to them."
Isaiah 66: 7-9
“ Before she was in labor, she gave birth; Before her pain came, She delivered a male child.
Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Shall the earth be made to give birth in one day? Or shall a nation be born at once? For as soon as Zion was in labor, She gave birth to her children. Shall I bring to the time of birth, and not cause delivery?” says the LORD. “ Shall I who cause delivery shut up the womb?” says your God.
Psalm 22:9-10
Yet you brought me out of the womb; you made me trust in you, even at my mother’s breast. 10 From birth I was cast on you; from my mother’s womb you have been my God.
Philippians 4:8
Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.
